Located on the south coast of Gran Canaria in the Costa Meloneras region, the Hotel Riu Gran Canaria is only a short distance from the Maspalomas sand dune beach with a variety of beach side restaurants, water sports and a designated nudist section. The hotel is situated on the beachfront and only a few km from the centre of Playa del Ingles, various shops, restaurants and bars.
The hotel features three different restaurants, with terrace area in the main restaurant, along with a terrace bar. Along with the terrace bar, the hotel offers a pool bar and a lounge bar. There are three heated swimming pools in the hotel complex with complimentary sun loungers, towels and parasols.
Each of the 639 guest rooms feature central air conditioning, satellite TV, safe deposit boxes and balconies, amongst other features. Inter-connecting rooms are available, along with apartments and suites.
The hotel is all inclusive, offering guests breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks available 24 hours a day. The packages also include sporting activities with the gymnasium, multipurpose sports pitch, tennis courts and aerobics. There are also day and evening entertainment programmes including a nightclub.
Guests can choose between various dining options including continental and buffet breakfasts, poolside lunches and Asian, Mexican, Andalusian or Canarian dinner options.
